Fashion Show provides the fashion industry and their related counterparts a no-cost venue to advertise goods and services; which enables them to secure maximum exposure via the internet.
All businesses or persons having interest in the fashion industry or related fields may advertise on this site. The categories pertaining to said businesses/persons are: * Fashion Designers/Houses
* Interior Designers
* Graphic Designers * Architects * All Schools of Design (including engineering) * Artists/Craftspeople (working in any medium or mode of performance) * Photographers/Videographers * Event Planners * Bridal Consultants * Florists * Caterers * Fine Jewelers * Fabric Stores and Textile Manufacturers * Dry Cleaners and Delivery Services who deal with Design Houses, Department Stores or Clothing Manufacturers * Major Department Stores/Retailers (clothing and related accessories must make up at least 60% of store's trade) * Minor Stores/Retailers (those whose primary offerings are fashionable clothing, fashion accessories or decorative home furnishings/designer fixtures) * Boutiques (clothing and/or fashion accessories must be the staple of trade) * Reputable Auction Houses (such as Sotheby's and Christie's) * All Salons and Spas * Stylists (hair, clothes, makeup, food, print layout, etc.) * Mail Order Catalogs (provided that they deal primarily in fashionable clothing, fashion accessories or decorative home furnishings/designer fixtures) * Major and Minor Fashion Industry Journals/Periodicals * All Correspondents/Journalists/Editors/Agents working for or with the aforementioned publications * Modeling and Talent Agencies * Independent Talent Scouts/Agents * Manufacturers and Distributors of Fashion Clothing and Accessories * Manufacturers and Distributors of Display Items (such as mannequins and other props) * Manufacturers and Distributors of Other Conveyances (such as garment and shopping bags, hangers, etc.) * Resorts, Hotels, Inns and Boards of Tourism/Commerce Don't assume that you are not eligible if you don't see a category that closely matches your own. You may e-mail us to determine your status and/or governing category. We will try to accommodate any reasonable candidate for inclusion on our list. However, we will expect that our advertisers are; or will aspire to be of comparable quality to their reputable and/or fashionable counterparts. Here are the other expectations/rules: * Your site must be active at the time of application for its ad(s) and must remain current for the duration of its listing, i.e.; it must be updated on a yearly basis; and/or continue to make available the high majority of the goods or services that are depicted on, or mentioned on the site until the time that you update or deactivate the site; or its listing should be cancelled. All cancellations made apart from Fashion Show's own decision to do so (see the last paragraph) must be made in writing (e-mail or postal mail); with proper proofs of identity submitted; in order to determine/establish the true identity/intentions of the particular party making cancellation. * There must be contact information listed on you site (such as phone numbers and e-mail addresses); and it must be accurate/current. * You must be able to conduct business with those in the United States and its territories. You must be able to accept U.S. Dollars for payment of goods and services. Your site's language should be English by at least 50%. * As a matter of principle; advertisers should attempt to make timely contact with all those who make inquiries of them. Contact within 24 hours is optimal; contact within 48 hours is a reasonable standard. Of course, exceptions can be made for holidays or other such unusual conditions. * No advertiser shall be engaged in any illegal activity in regard to the operation their site/business. Nor shall the site contain certain undesirable elements. Nor shall the advertiser be engaged in undesirable activities. The illegal/undesirable activities/practices/elements are as follows:
* Advertising that is in any way false or misleading. * Copyright infringement, i.e.; using images or ideas belonging to another for any purpose; especially a commercial one; without obtaining the express permission of the party to whom the copyrighted material belongs. No counterfeit merchandise shall be sold through any site. * Receiving payment for goods or services which will not be issued/rendered to the purchaser of said goods or services. * Pornography: any sexually explicit or highly suggestive material; or hate speech. No threatening statements shall be made nor shall there be any harassment. * The display or trading of any private or privileged information that was not expressly permitted by the affected party or parties. * The trade of any illegal substances or contraband. * Spamming, i.e.; intentionally sending unsolicited or inordinate amounts of e-mail; unsolicited advertising such as "pop-up ads", etc. * Technical faults in a website's composition which would disable or compromise an end user's computer systems in any way. * A website composed of codes which are not compatible with most users' browsers/systems.

The mandatory rules are not controvertible; save that Fashion Show decides for said. Rules which would not significantly alter any prior agreements made between Fashion Show and its clientele may be modified at any time to suit Fashion Show's purposes provided that said purposes are in keeping with federal and state laws. The model that will be used to govern Fashion Show's practices is Maryland state law. Violation of the mandatory rules that Fashion Show has set forth will result in the dismissal of the violator from any and all of Fashion Show's venues/properties. Fashion Show will be bound to the action it agreed to undertake on behalf of any advertiser/client except for the breach of contract made by an advertiser/client; meaning the violation of Fashion Show Policy (as set forth in this document). Fashion Show shall not be bound in such cases where an act of God, severe illness or injury; or the death of a company officer would surely prevent it from keeping its appointments. Fashion Show agrees that it shall not disclose any information pertaining to any advertiser/client, or to any of the advertiser's/client's contacts without the express permission of said advertiser/client. The majority of the rules listed above are mandatory; and adherence to all that are listed is strongly suggested and will be enforced to the best of Fashion Show's ability. Fashion Show cannot guarantee the authenticity or suitability of any of its advertisers; but will make every attempt to screen out illegitimate entities. However, Fashion Show cannot be responsible for the actions of third-parties. By procuring services through Fashion Show you acknowledge that you have read Fashion Show's rules and agree to them.
